Vintage Cookbook: Mrs. Wilson's Cook Book (1920)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of milk
4 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of diced and parboiled mushrooms
1 well-beaten egg
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of paprika
3 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
Instructions
Place milk in a saucepan and add flour. Stir until dissolved and then bring to a boil. Cook for five minutes and then add mushrooms, egg, salt, paprika, and parsley. Beat to mix and then cook for two minutes and use.
